LedgeStone Country Club to host
6th Annual Gridiron Classic
Twilight rates and discounts available throughout season
(Branson West, MO) - LedgeStone Country Club near Branson, MO, announces it will host the 6th Annual Gridiron Golf Classic, May 19-20. The event features a Saturday "Battle for the Gridiron Cup" with professional athletes from Kansas City competing against their counterparts from St. Louis. Participants for the 2012 "Battle" include; Neil Smith (Kansas City Chiefs), Lynn Stiles (Kansas City Chiefs/ St. Louis Rams), Shawn Barber (Kansas City Chiefs), Mel Gray (St. Louis Cards), Tony Adams (Kansas City Chiefs), James Laurinaitis (St. Louis Rams), and Jim Anderson (St. Louis Rams). Many other former players will participate as well. There will be a silent auction and dinner after play on Saturday. On Sunday, the event shifts to a Pro-Am format with teams of four participants paired with a Kansas City or St. Louis athlete. Proceeds from the event support Tantone Industries – a not-for-profit organization which provides meaningful employment to people with developmental disabilities. LedgeStone has also announced that special twilight and discount rates are available to the public throughout the year at the Branson area's only true country club. Golfers can play LedgeStone after 3 p.m. and receive the special twilight rate of $49.00 (includes 18 holes of golf and cart rental). Golfers can play 18 holes, including cart rental, from noon until 3:00 p.m. for $65.00. 18 holes with cart before noon is $89.00. Kids Play Free Program through April 30
6th Annual Gridiron Classic set for May 19-20
(Branson West, MO) - LedgeStone Country Club near Branson, MO, announces its annual Kids Play Free program for the month of April. Now through April 30, junior golfers age 15 and under can play free golf . There are no restrictions on days or times that junior golfers can play. Golf carts are required at LedgeStone Country Club. Juniors must play with either an adult renting and driving a cart, or an adult playing golf and driving the cart. LedgeStone has also set the date for their popular Sticks and Stones Golf Camp. LedgeStone Grille, located adjacent to the pro shop in the lower level of the clubhouse, is now open for the season. LedgeStone Grille is open daily from 7:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and features burgers, sandwiches, salads, and more. Spacious seating and fast service highlight the LedgeStone Grille dining experience. LedgeStone Grille also has announced its Endless Coffee Club. For a cost of $20, you receive unlimited coffee all year long, and a collectible stainless steel LedgeStone Country Club mug. LedgeStone Country Club offering golfers opportunity to Play Golf
and Santa from November 14 through December 24
(Branson West, MO) - LedgeStone Country Club near Branson, MO has long been a leader in the Ozarks when it comes to charitable giving. From November 14 through December 24, LedgeStone will hold their annual Toy Drive, offering golfers an opportunity to receive free green fees and provide much needed holiday toys for children in the surrounding area.
"Our golf course is open to the public, and our hearts are open to the community," said Bill Hasler, General Manager at LedgeStone Country Club. "This is a special time of year in the Ozarks, and each year we work hard to provide children with gifts they may otherwise not receive."
During this holiday season, golfers will receive a free green fee, Sunday through Thursday, with the donation of a toy for the annual Toy Drive. All donated toys must be brand new and in their original packaging. Golfers are required to pay $22.00 per person cart fee. Tee times and proper golf attire are required.
"We work with Love INC to ensure proper delivery of our toys to area children," Hasler said. "Together with Love INC, golfers and LedgeStone Country Club make a positive difference in the lives of children."
For over 10 years, Ozark Mountain Country Love INC has coordinated the Stone and Taney County Holiday Assistance program. Each year over 800 families and 1500 children benefit from food and gifts throughout Thanksgiving and Christmas through programs coordinated by Love INC.
